Predicted the AI age we are in and various aspects since 2012 (Search in the Age of Automation, Success in the Age of Automation, Task Completion Engines, etc…). My prior work not only foretold the this era but also explained several aspects in extreme accuracy and how businesses could get in front of the coming changes.
My current work focuses on success inside of AI systems and working to push those systems to be more compatible with the open web instead of having destructive impacts.
Current body for work includes:
- Prediction of Consensus as a Google and LLM ranking factor
- Development of Consensus Building as a new SEO deliverable
- Promotion of blocking bad LLM bots / endorsing good ones
- Creation of the Rocketship SEO open source WordPress plugin
- Creation of the Rocketship platforms (proprietary for clients only at the moment)
- Prediction of Task Completion Engines (the comet browser by Perplexity is tantalizingly close)
My talk: Dominating in the Age of Automation will provide a blueprint any business (local, national, ecommerce, etc…) can use – including publishers and other content creators – to win big during this new era of the web. It will provide real world examples of how AI automation can help generate non-slop content and how to avoid pitfalls all while improving how consumers engage with a website and convert from visitors to customers. The talk will look at AI powered platforms like Quotebot, tools like InVideo and Kling, and examine the productivity that can flow from merging systems like Cursor and WordPress and look at possible near-future use cases for automation and AI.
