The State of Search conference is a few days away. Along with an impressive line-up of speakers and a killer Half Time party, we still have a few more surprises up our sleeves.

Last year we did something different to other conferences, and provided a concierge service to help you feel comfortable and get acquainted. So many of you loved having someone on the spot to help you easily take advantage of everything State of Searchhas to offer, the Concierge is back in 2016!

Where is the nearest ______?

Have you ever attended a conference or event and thought to yourself, “Wouldn’t it be great if I could find out…

  • Where’s the nearest Starbucks?
  • What’s the WiFi code?
  • Where is the closest Apple Store?
  • Is there any way I can find a cable to charge my…?
  • Where’s the lost and found?

Just like a hotel concierge helps make your hotel stay more comfortable, our conference concierge will help make State of Search a conference you’ll remember.

In addition to our cool new mobile app (more about that later), the concierge will be on hand to help both locals and out-of-towners during the conference. The concierge will have all the information you need to enjoy your time in Dallas around Gilley’s, into Downtown, and other fascinating areas of town. You can ask them to assist with:

  • last minute conference registration
  • directions to NYLO hotel
  • restaurant recommendations
  • and much, much more!

We expect many of you are savvy enough to use Uber, Yelp, and AirBnB for accommodations, transportation, and food. But they don’t call Dallas BIG D for nothing. A little help from an experienced local will save you a long ride in heavy traffic.

The concierge will be available all day, starting one hour before the first session (both days). So stop by the Concierge Desk and say Howdy!
