10 Digital Marketing Conferences You Should Attend in 2015

For the State of Search enthusiast

Search Marketing conferences in 2015
With so many great digital marketing conferences across the U.S., it’s hard to pick just one.

State of Search is already shaping up to be one of the biggest and best digital marketing in the country. We’ve got high caliber keynote speakers Rand Fishkin (Moz), Duane Forrester (Bing), and Google’s own Gary Illyes to share knowledge and discuss the latest trends in search marketing. If you haven’t already grabbed a ticket, stop reading and register right now (trust me, you don’t want to miss this conference).

But what about all the other search marketing conferences? If, for whatever reason, you’re not able to come State of Search this year (if your boss doesn’t want to pay, make them read this) here’s a list of some other conferences from around the country we recommend attending in 2015.

INBOUND is easily one of the largest conferences on this list. Spanning over four days, this event features 170+ sessions, attracting more than 10,000 attendees who want to learn the latest and greatest marketing strategies from top leaders in the industry. Keynote speakers include Seth Godin and Daniel Pink, and it was just announced that the hilarious Aziz Ansari (of “Parks and Rec” fame) will also be a speaker.

Content Marketing World 2015
Cleveland, OH – Sept. 8-11

Content Marketing World is put on by Content Marketing Institute and boasts of being the “largest content event”. It is certainly the place you and your team will gain the materials and knowledge needed to roll out a content marketing plan that “will grow your business and inspire your audience.” There will be over 80 sessions, and speakers include John Cleese (yes, THE John Cleese) and MarketingProfs’ Ann Handley.

If you want to rise above your competition in search marketing, SMX East should definitely be on your list of conferences to attend. You’ll learn about the newest trends in SEO and SEM, and you’ll leave with practical tips and brand new strategies. Brad Bender, VP of Product Management for the Google Display Network, is the keynote speaker, and you don’t want to miss his keynote conversation with Search Engine Land’s Ginny Marvin and Danny Sullivan. DFWSEM members are also represented, with Christine Churchill, Steve Hammer, and Bill Hartzer scheduled to speak.

Pubcon 2015
Las Vegas, NV – Oct. 5-8

No list of digital marketing conferences would be complete without the incredible Pubcon. Featuring keynotes from the world renowned Guy Kawasaki, and SEER’s Wil Reynolds, Pubcon will be a digital marketing event for the ages. Once again, DFWSEM members will be sharing their knowledge with thousands of attendees throughout the week as they take to the Pubcon speaking stage. Watch out for Damon Gochneaur, Joe Youngblood, Sean Jackson, Bill Hartzer and others flying the flag for DFWSEM. There are a variety of passes you can purchase, so be sure to check them all out and see which is best for you.
