Mark Traphagen started out as a teacher. Then, in the early 2000’s, he was introduced to the world of digital marketing. Mark is the VP of Content Strategy for AimClear.
Mark spoke at State of Search for the past several years and we simply had to get him back. He’s a regular speaker at conferences so his schedule is regularly booked. Just this year, he’s spoken at MozCon, Searchfest, SMX West, and others.
As Senior Director, it’s his goal to not only get the Stone Temple brand out into the world, but to work with specialized clients on various marketing strategies.
Mark is fearless when it comes to marketing strategies. He was once chased by gun-toting Palestinian guards in Jerusalem. We’ve heard it was not marketing related, but reports are sketchy.
His ability to harness the power of social media has been quite impressive. He was named by Moz as one of the top 5 people to follow on social media. Rand Fishkin, the Founder of Moz, said this when talking about Mark’s social media expertise: “This is not a man, but instead a machine intelligence sent to show us what incredible participation in social media looks like.”
Community around social media, content and branding has propelled Mark from the classroom to conference stages. We love having him back!
