Summary:Chris Silver Smith was prescient in advocating semantic markup for Local SEO benefit back in 2006 - prior to any search engines using such data in interpreting, ranking or displaying businesses in local search results. Since then, there have been multiple iterations of data structure definitions accepted by search engines that can influence local listings in results. In this session, Chris will highlight a number of key markup types and why they are worthwhile, and perhaps drop one or two advanced tactics for using Schemas, Open Graph, Twitter Cards, and other structured data elements.
