As Senior Manager of Growth Marketing at Trulia, he not only heads up the SEO and link acquisition process, he leads you through the funnel to get to your dream home — and he spearheaded Trulia Rentals SEO, email marketing, and app store growth.
John’s been invited back for the State of Search 3-peat. He spoke in 2013 and 2014 (in English, though he rocks it en français as well), and we’re pretty curious about what he’s got in store for 2015.
We asked him what goes hand-in-hand with awesome content. John didn’t need an elaborate answer: “Promotion.”
Promotion is right when it comes to his content with Trulia. They’ve catapulted to one of the top 100 Alexa-tracked sites and, with the constant need for updated content, it takes a great SEO mind to manage and produce it. John’s been up for the challenge and then some. The James Madison grad also caught the entrepreneur bug, starting HireGun, the matchmaker for small businesses and killer online marketing consultants.
