|Bio:||If anyone knows how to bring the smartest experts in an industry together for a conference, Brett Tabke is that person. As founder of PubCon, one of the largest new media and optimization conferences, Brett’s been a leader in bringing together the best minds in marketing. The conference started by gathering local experts and webmasters at a pub.
Brett saw the potential for the Internet early on and so he spent much of his time building websites, devouring information and running tests on getting more traffic to the sites.
Now, he’s taking a weekend off from his conference to speak and learn from the bright minds (you!) at State of Search. If you’re a regular DFWSEM monthly meeting attendee, you’ll have already met Brett. You would also have also seen him at Retail Global, SASSCON UK, and SWR San Jose.
Brett’s influence in the marketing industry extends globally. As one CMO wrote: “Brett is royalty in the marketing industry. Not only does he consistently produce massively successful conference events around the world, he's also supportive and active in his local community.”
One of Brett’s posts that’s gone viral in the community is his: “Successful site in 12 months: 26 steps to 15k a day.” He wrote it as a simple blog post and it took off and sparked many success stories. It showed his deep understanding of what it takes to be a major-leaguer in this industry. Many of the terms you hear - SERP, Link farms, SEO Themes - were coined by Brett himself.
Brett values community and the power it has to grow websites and businesses. At State of Search, we pride ourselves on our community, and Brett’s been a major catalyst in making sure that continues.
